It was 80°F, hot, humid, and muggy in Brisbane when I made the decision to walk to West End for a bowl of phở.  Not that I knew phở was there, just instinct told me there would be phở near Boundary Street (formerly the line at which people of a certain character were forbidden to pass).  I believe this delicious bowl was the more so elusive northern phở that is more difficult to find in San Francisco.
